Green Door Gourmet Garden Has Another Great Year

Throughout the spring and summer, volunteers helped to plant, water, weed, and harvest crops sporadically before the end of school and at least twice a week during the summer. As the second year for the project, the team was able to grow over 150 pounds of squash and tomatoes for the residents of Nashville's food deserts. Additionally we supplied fresh vegetables for some of The Nashville Food Project's other partners, such as the residents of Mercury Court and The Oasis Center, among others.
